Bonne année!

Les vacances de Noël ont été très mouvementées ici suite à certains imprévus (à pois rouges, rapport à une certaine épidémie de varicelle…). J'ai eu la chance de passer quelques jours à Londres et je ne suis pas rentrée bredouille : 

Déjà c'était les soldes. J'ai donc rapporté 2 gros sacs de laine Rowan, de la pure wool Aran et de la British sheep Breeds Bouclée (ça sent le cardigan tout doux). Mais aussi 2 pelotes de mérinos super douce rouge pour faire un bonnet de Steve Zissou à Odilon, et 2 de Felted Tweed Aran pour me faire un bonnet de la fin de l'hiver. J'ai dégoté un super catalogue Rowan et le livre qui pourrait bien être mon livre de chevet tricot de 2014 : Knitting from the top de Barbara G. Walker.

J'ai également été studieuse et ai tricoté un petit gilet sans manches avec les restes de Malabrigo lace du Sweet Lime. Il n'attend plus que ses petits boutons.

En tous cas je vous souhaite une très belle année 2014, pleine d'amour, de laine et d'eau fraîche !

Christmas holidays have been very eventful due to some (red spotted, in relation to a certain chicken pox epidemic…) unexpected incidents.

I had the luck to spend a few days in London and I didn't came back empty handed :  

First, it was the sales. So I carried back 2 big bags of Rowan wool, some Pure wool Aran and some  British sheep Breeds Bouclée (sounds like soft cosy cardigan). But also 2 skeins of supersoft red merinos to knit a Steve Zissou hat for Odilon, and 2 of Felted Tweed Aran to knit me an "end of the winter" hat. I got a super catalogue Rowan and the book that could be my 2014 knitting bedside book : Knitting from the top by Barbara G. Walker. 

I have also been studious and knitted a little sleeveless cardigan with the Malabrigo Lace I had left  after the Sweet Lime. It is juste waiting for his buttons.

Anyway I wish you a wonderful year 2014, full of love, wool and fresh water (I don't know if the french expression "d'amour et d'eau fraîche" works in english) !
